IOI Borghi

The production of energy from renewable sources attracts capital and remunerates it adequately. If the investments are made, even in part, with local capital, the production of wealth generated by the production of energy makes it possible to “link” investments in renewable sources with investments for the development of traditional activities: agricultural, gastronomic, artisanal.
In this context IOI BORGHI was conceived, which is strongly linked to our distributed generation project, as it will be carried out mainly in the Municipalities where we will create the Energy Communities.
In the project, the TRIP and the STOP are understood as fundamental parts of an “itinerant” holiday. A Journey (on foot, by bike, by motorbike, by car, by public transport) among the IOI BORGHI allows the possibility of staying (overnight) in a room of a DIFFUSED HOTEL throughout the Apennine territory, with the possibility to choose the stops and plan the trip in absolute freedom. IOI Borghi will be a REAL AND VIRTUAL NETWORK of Villages capable of suggesting TRIPS, made up of ITINERARIES and STOPS, in search of Culture, Taste and Hospitality, because:

• a BORGO alone does not have the strength to "attract" tourists and cannot “give continuity” to the STOPS,
• by themselves CULTURE, TASTE and HOSPITALITY of a BORGO do not have the strength to "attract" tourists and are unable to “long” the STOPS.
