AD2CF200 é un aerogeneratore tripala ad asse orizzontale fornito di sistemi attivi di controllo yaw e pitch, monitorati e gestiti da un software avanzato. È dotato di generatore sincrono a magneti permanenti e di inverter full range.
Il generatore sincrono assicura in una eccezionale flessibilità  del sistema di generazione che in grado di operare a giri variabili su un ampio campo di velocità  del vento. Il generatore non necessita di eccitazione esterna.
La macchina sfrutta i venti deboli avendo un cut-in intorno ai 3 metri al secondo e raggiunge la velocità nominale ad 11 metri al secondo.

D2CF200 is wind turbine with three-bladed horizontal axis systems and equipped with active yaw and pitch control, managed by an advanced software. It is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous generator and full range inverter.
The advantages of a synchronous generator consist of a great flexibility of the generation system, capable of operating at variable speed over a wide speed range. The generator requires no external excitation.
The machine uses the weak winds with a 3 meter per second cut-in and reaches its nominal speed at 11 meter per second.
